Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 July 2026
1. Who we are
Subscryber (the "Service") — the Subscryber mobile app and the website at subscryber.app — is operated by Appocrates Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: support@subscryber.app.
2. The Service
Subscryber helps you track subscriptions you record, get renewal reminders, split costs within groups, and view spending insights. Subscryber is an organizational tool: it does not connect to your bank, does not move money, and does not provide financial advice.
3. Your account
You need an account to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
4. Premium subscriptions
Premium is an optional paid plan billed through the app store you purchased it from (currently Google Play). Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe and may vary by country. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime through your store account, and refunds are governed by the store's refund policy.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no attempting to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, no accessing other users' data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Your content
The subscription data you enter stays yours. You grant us the licence needed to store and process it solely to provide the Service. You can delete your account and data at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
7. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". Reminders and insights depend on the data you enter — we are not liable for missed renewals, charges from third-party subscriptions, or decisions you make based on the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update the Service and these terms. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
